This is a short essay from a minister who has completed the Spirit-Quest:

Wow!!! What have I learned? Let me start from my beginning:

There is so much that I have learned. So much practice and so much growth in the last eight months. Since taking this course,  I feel that I am now in a constant mode of change and evolution.

My own personal experience may explain what I mean by changes. After taking my discourses, I realized that I was receiving information about people and their need for healing. Names of people would come to my head. When I would contact them, they indeed needed some type of physical or emotional healing. I also saw colors, and was directed through colors to where I should work on someone or myself.

I started working with people by facilitating sessions for them, the changes that occurred in some of these people was amazing, however I want to make sure that you the reader understand that these people were the ones wanting this healing and I was just a channel that facilitated that healing, it was not me doing the work it was the Source, the Creator of all things.

I found that I could no longer eat certain types of foods. My body only wanted those things that were good for me, this please me immensely. It also provided me with more energy than I had ever had before. Meats were no longer appealing to me, where before I enjoyed meats like everyone else. Wine had always been a problem for me. I found it better to stay away from wine all together.

My allergies were a year round happening. I lived on allergy pills. This new lifestyle really helped as I no longer had to take allergy pills, or ibuprofen for headaches as these went away as well. I now only take allergy pills every once in a while when allergy season is at its highest.

The most wonderful and beneficial thing for me was to be able to make a connection with the Divine. This is something that was so special for me that I would never regret having gone through this course; on the contrary it made me whole. Once undergoing the process, if you are committed to your spiritual enfoldment, it will rock your world. Nothing will ever be the same. Life will be much richer and fuller, you will be happy within yourself. You will no longer look at external means for happiness. Your husband will become a companion, yet not your source of happiness. You will love your children, family, friends, yet they are no longer your only source of happiness. Happiness will lie within you, and that is what I found. I will not tell you that I have no challenges, I find that now I can cope with them much easier. I see them in a different light. To be able to take the tools that I have learned in the last year and apply them to life is what has made a huge difference.

I came to the realization that I am the best chocolate cake out there. There is no chocolate cake better than me. Everything else is frosting added to the cake as one of the ladies I know stated.

My life continues to evolve and I find that I see life through different eyes. My evolution started over seven years ago, however I know that I have been connected all my life. This discourse has fine tuned all that I have learned throughout the years. The practice of mastery is what has made the difference. Being able to take a concept and practice it for a week or however long is necessary is what I have found makes the difference

Life is a wonderful thing and to understand your role in life you need to look within yourself, understand your soul purpose and search within for answers. No one can do this for you, only you can do this for you. Everyone is born with a purpose, something you are here to learn during this lifetime, or you are meant to do. Have you thought of what your purpose is? Have you looked within to figure out how you can be happy within yourself? (This is a challenge that only you can figure out for yourself.

No matter what your religion or set of beliefs are, Spirit-Quest may enrich your life and experience, if you are willing to look within yourself to discover your life purpose. First of all, you will need quiet time for yourself. To look within yourself, you will need time to meditate.

There are many ways of accomplishing this; spirit quest may not be for everyone, however it was for me. It did enrich my life. I was able to experience something very rich, how it is related to every aspect of our being, from emotional happiness to emotional difficulty, physical illnesses, relationships, programming and more.

This is what this experience has done for me. It has made me more aware of my body, my mind, my soul and it has connected me to the Divine Source, the creator of all things. I now find life to be richer, fuller and something that I truly can enjoy on a moment-by-moment basis.

By staying in the now I can ensure forward movement of my life. I can co-create with the Universe. I can plan my day every morning and work with the Universal life force to manifest those things that I need in my life.

That is the power of the work we have down and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to practice mastery.

Spirit Quest

We named our meditation garden Soulquest Place and lined the paths with roses, herbs and other plants.   We shared our spiritual path often in this garden until a stoke took his mind, and finally his body but left behind was his spirit there with me always.  His ashes were placed in a corner with a sign reading, " Blessings".   I enrolled in a local class called Soul Quest and in this class called Spirit Quest. It was uncanny how often within the same week the two classes would be about the same topic.   

      However, at first I had a real problem with the Spirit Quest assignment to blow up roses.  My garden was full of roses symbolic of the love my late husband and I had shared and I found I could not go there to read or meditate and blow them up for it was too much like losing the love of my life, my late husband.  After totally losing his mind, following a stroke, he returned one last time to the garden in December when all green life was dead,  to my surprise there hide among the dead leaves piled around the rose  bush, one last small red bud,  protected from the cold of winter by the piles of brown leaves. 


   In all the years of our marriage, it was his habit to put a rose at my plate each morning if there was one in the garden,  but I was in total shock to find one the week of Christmas.  He knew not my name at this point but he still knew enough to pick the rose and place it by my breakfast plate that 25th of Dec.  He returned the next day to the nursing home never to inner our garden in body again and soon passed in death. 

  Finally, to remain in the class and take part in the assignments, I had to change the color to dead brown roses and blow them up and create new little red buds like the one my Joe,  found that special Christmas day. 

Eventually, the classes begin to work for me.   I learned that grief needed her justice but even she had to be blow away so the living could go on living and not die in spirit with the dead in body.  Creating that grounding cord help me get back on my feet and not to allow others who wanted to just dump their problems but fail to take responsibility for help themselves to drain me of my own positive energy. 

  I found myself looking forward to the class each week and the next big spiritual foot hold I would gain in my spiritual path in the quest for spirit.  I have taken about six classes now from ULC and this has been my best for personal growth. For many years Joe was my teacher and then you.  I will miss you Spirit Quest Class,  but my quest will continue and since the student is ready I am sure a new guide or teacher will come to lead me in my onward journey in  the quest for soul and spirit.

Master of Metaphysics Course

“Spirit Quest”

This class has been extremely helpful in many ways. The most significant difference has been in personal anger management, and all the ramifications derived therein (i.e., jealousy, envy, and resulting lack of control).

All the details of my current life situation need not be delineated, but a couple of points will suffice to make the point. At age 57, following 14 years of living on a boat by myself, suddenly becoming part of large, close family of different culture (they are proudly Mexican and I’m proudly Irish) from new parents to grandchildren, a 6 year old son to parent, a house in the suburbs (with mortgage) and a corporate sales job. There are daily challenges to a sense of humor not previously imagined.

Grounding and cleansing (with roses) has not only been helpful, but at times critical to survival. Human interaction brings out all of our emotions, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (to paraphrase a western movie title). The stronger the attraction, the stronger all of these emotions seem to be, and the greater the need to dissipate these energies. Practicing these exercises (followed by Golden Suns) have, to date, allowed me to maintain (by my definition) a level of peace most of the time.

Focusing on the lessons/challenges presented also helps tremendously toward balance. Recognizing that a contemplative existence for many years has lead to a ‘catching up’ on development/growth in emotional issues, doesn’t fix anything but it helps in attaining a “higher view”. This results, for me, in achieving a more productive prospective. A lot of work yet to do, but this course provided the necessary tools to meet the Alchemical challenges and succeed (measured by maintaining the relationship, sanity (?), and personal growth).

Meditation and exercise time was very limited so many of the tools/exercises did not get all the attention they deserved. Reading each lesson 3 times turned out to be a minimal effort and falls short of providing any real proficiency. The lessons that did ‘call me’ and received more attention provided the miracle of my present state, and an Alchemical reaction that continues. The lessons are all saved and bound so the next time Spirit Quest calls to me, I can find another unremembered nugget of knowledge and get even more from this course.

In closing let me take writers’ license and paraphrase an old cliché. “A teacher in need is a teacher indeed.” Thank you from my heart.

Metaphysics Dissertation

I found myself in life having walked eight months spiritually, mentally, the direction for my soul-keep. And in the process of learning spirit, I was fortunate to accept responsibility. Responsibility is a very adult word. To me, its meaning implies that I take charge for my Spirit-Self. Life moved rapidly and the outer creation that, I or the world help create did break away. This was the same outer most crust that hurt my success to taking on a life all its own. Figuring out what those responsible 'others' true intentions were, made more sense to me in my present life. Spirit-Quest help me to understand that I am not a foundling on my way around the tugging disappointments in a straight line, just for me. I Either just begun facing the current or freely ride along this desired path.

I can live with the fact I was not suppose follow the exact future those before me bestowed on top of my life. One, every time while receiving a new discourse, a significant change rose out from the ashes and started another ruckus. I have witnessed many changes and I have proof, such as leaving my old job. It's exciting every time I think about this change in my life. To better tell the story, nearly having to meditate, and tell the story. I am a professional psychic and the learning experience through Spirit-Quest made people take in what it is what I needed to tell them.

After one huge 'hello!', I was given a position that I did not have to test. In fact, I ask how and why. My current manager said that he did not know why, but he could just trust me. I wanted to test and warned him I do better in true situations rather than passing the two major tests. Thus, the two dreaded tests all psychics wanting to advance his or her career in the telecommunications industry. Now, I have a job and I did write my instructor, explaining how would I find a job, the President Rev. Amy Long. There shortly, I received knowledge from the infinite wisdom the universe offered. Of course, didn't I not want to make a wealth amount of money? I do want to make a living and I am not ashamed of this.

The point being made is that I decided to be a student of Spirit-Quest to perfect on my skills to helping others. Then the other very true fact, that I obtained a Metaphysical degree accredited through the American Accrediting Association (AAA), to make a living. I am a professional metaphysician and I am doing what both, the universe and I are loving. We are Ministering to others and using psychic ability to being insightful with a purpose in mind, that influences so many peoples lives.

I had to work out the differences in my own life before bringing on such a challenge. I thought that I would be finished and prayed that I might find other interests. I realized I'm at the starting blocks ready to run a journey. I am also sure that I will be taking up other discourses. I decided to take up a spiritual profession called, a life long student.

For instance, I could not have published my book with out taking an eight month time out designated to bringing about this secret project. I worked on it and have published my first metaphysical book called 'Healing in Life and Goals'. It is the first of more to come, because I get calls from spiritually gifted 'others' needing to know how I pick up on them well enough, as they haven't ever talked with me in

this life. One of my discourses explained to me why that is and that there was a conversation in the other side. In fact, we discussed it already and it's recorded in the Akisha records. I thought to being favored to leaving behind the teachings and the books for those building both, his or her life and career. We can begin to imagine stepping in, taking charge in someone else life until we do this for ourselves.

My dream is extended into the physical plane. The responsibility of working in

this life for others around the world has opened my concept of opportunity. I have been invited to speak all others around the world. This is the kind of honor that is in my visual screen. Though I feel this streaming through my entire being, I would not want to do anything unprepared.

Another great feats I accomplished is having poetry published and now will have the opportunity to seeing my work at an international level. This is validating to me because it plays an important part in me reaching clients all over and is expressed in the art of poetry. The other wonder is the response I get from the universe, which I interpreted as blessings. Meditations were complicated for me then, and now it's simple. I believe Universal Life Church Seminary and I were destined to meet up in this life. It feeling like I was protected and while I didn't have to be affected by the woes for living on planet Earth, I searched out freedom and expression. There are views for me to share and the knowledge has to come from an international source. The ULC Seminary is that source where I can gather my information because I choose to literally go out into the world to teach metaphysics.

Responsibly moving to another world will take endurance for the Spirit-Self, and the teachings is more than its worth. I have the one goal to take care of the expectations in place. I have even started a prayer chain and suddenly I don't see the word 'alone' blanketed away in mind. I see lively inter relative actions acting out in accordance to the universe. This is my experience making the crossings between lives and recommend without metaphysical degrees to never trend out.

Spirit-Quest

Spirit-Quest Course by Rev. Tishanne

The Spirit Quest course has been the best course in my opinion for beginning my quest in metaphysics. I found that no matter what personal technique I apply or philosophy the tools I learned in this course have been a continual source of inspiration. Creative visualization and power of thought combined with compassion has opened my eyes or third eye to so much wonderful knowledge. Understanding thought forms in pictures has many implications. Symbols are a universal language that works well with the photo communication.

I also loved the part of the course that deals in negative feelings and how to handle them. I laugh about breaking eggs,haven't done it yet because just thinking about it as an "if all else fails" makes me laugh. Just knowing that you can destroy or blow up a negative thought is empowering. I personally use the sending a "hello" most often. It really helps me deal with split time parenting. Given the insight on how past life episodes can impact our present relations has helped me to understand my family dynamics. I piece it together with dream info for the best view. As a foundation course on energy I think its the best. I have built my studies since from Reiki to PSI with what I have learned. Also the "parking spot" tool works well with traffic lights if your in a bind. I have also used it for bargain shopping.
